What is ‘Moondream’?
Moondream paper is from GFSmith, and is a particularly remarkable product because when heat and pressure are applied, the paper becomes translucent – thanks to synthetic fibres used in its manufacture. Available in three weights, it is a naturally bulky board with a soft tactile surface, and holds the detail of multi-level embossing beautifully, as well as being fantastic with letterpress, offset lithography and engraving.

Face: 3 Colour Letterpress printed in Black, Rhodamine Red & Pantone 871 Gold plus a Blind De-Boss.
Printed on Crane’s Lettra, Flourescent White 600g.
Middle: Blind Heat Emboss on Moondream 140g.
Reverse: Full Colour Digital Print and 2 Colour Hot Foil with a Micro Sand Grain Texture Emboss in the Gold.
Printed on Crane’s Crest, Flourescent White 300g.
